jeremy clarkson has pubic hair on his head
Clarkson’s funnier when he’s mocking his own country’s old cars. Fortunately British Leyland gave him plenty of material.
thats an 86 Town Car not any 70′s cars. The car probably has a 302 V8 and they will get 26 MPG on highway.
that guy sucks his own dick…what a gay asshole
@KingOCleveland like old boxy car. look at my page for a real 70′s american car.
its a black guy car!!
afro-mullet
@HRHooChicken Alot of them were designed by the same corperations . The same way Audis look like VW’s and Seats . The Mercury marquis, Crown vic, and Lincoln towncar were the same corperation for example and use the same platform and parts.
@focusnbw2009 Yes, Detroit reacted to emissions controls not unlike Soviet Russia to “Fall Barbarossa.”
Why did americans love those square cars? they all look the same in the 80s movies
@v8cool1 don’t forget the engines were so big because they were ladden down with primative emissions devices, thank you EPA.
i dont like how he insults how the car looks. its all about taste, and i quite like that old box stoly shape.
@v8cool1 Yeah the Porche and Auto Union were pretty bad. I forgot about them. Getting parts for Mercs and BMWs was a pain. And, if you went to the dealer ….. I was like preparing to give a large man a crying Blow Job. You paid a lot. I the only tolerable automatic transmission I can think of were a few american ones from GM and Ford, but they killed power and gas mileage like no other. But, you have to admit VW made alot of beetles because of there low cost of ownership.
@GrandMoffSilvey”The Germans …. they were the only ones that made good cars back then,”
I wouldn’t even say that I remebe rin the early 80′s a 71 BMW sitting in a garage forecourt rusting away with an un-repairable gearbox. It must of only of been 12 years old, and it was rotten. The Auto transmissions were terrible on old German cars. My dad owned a 70′s Audi in the 80′s, and binned it off. Ity was only 10 years old, and useless. And the Porsche 924.
I was born in 1964. I was acutely aware growing up past 1972 that the glory days of American cars were over.
In grade school, ’69-’75 I watched all the teacher’ american (and foreign) cars bio degrade rapidly (rust).
Add loss of power due to 1st generation emissions, nasty chrome, white walled tires, and you had some real losers.
Most cars from the 1970s were rubbish… and nice hair Clarkson …LOL!!! Now go drive an Independent Rear Suspension, DOHC four valve 4.6 liter Supercharged 2003 SVT Cobra… or better yet, a new 2011 Boss 302 (BMW M3 killer) Mustang (that’s right, M3 killer, don’t believe? Look it up)… Times have changed since the 1970s fuel embargo days, or the learning to balance emissions with horsepower 1980s, the 1990s were getting closer, but now, they have figured it out!
They weren’t all bad, but most of them were.
yeah we’ve mostly put out utter shit since about 72. late 60s muscle cars are still the most beautiful machines on wheels, though.
I’m sorry, but I don’t think anyone made a good car in the 70′s even the Japanese ones where dumbfounded by cold weather. Many of the Euro cars were riddled with electrical problems (I consider the most annoying). Wait ……. I just remembered. The Germans …. they were the only ones that made good cars back then, not all of them were nice to look at, and the parts costs were …… awful.
God loves you, and whoever believes that Jesus Christ the Son of God died for their sins, was buried and rose again will have eternal life in Heaven. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved,” – Acts 16:31
