Veteran point guard Jason Williams”nicknamed White Chocolate earlier in his career for his flamboyant play”is returning to the NBA after a season away from basketball. Williams announced that hes re-entering the league this season, and will do so in an Orlando Magic uniform. Williams is tentatively slated to be the backup for starting playmaker Jameer Nelson.

The live crowd in Philadelphia clearly favored the likable Griffin and gave him a huge ovation as he bounced to the ring to his trademark walk-in song Shipping Up To Boston by the Dropkick Murphys. Silva, meanwhile, received a smattering of boos as he confidently strode to the ring to the sound of Aint No Sunshine by rapper DMX. Silva displayed much more humility toward the fans than he has in his recent outings, bowing in all four directions after the entered the cage.

He displayed none of that courtesy toward Griffin once the fight began and was simply the wrecking machine that UFC fans had grown accustomed before his recent run of lackluster performances. Forrest came right at Silva, assuming that his natural size advantage would equate to a strength advantage as well.

The resolute Griffin quickly bounced to his feet, this time flashing a high kick which Silva easily countered for another knockdown. This one clearly hurt Griffin, though he once again made it back to his feet quickly and landed a combination of his own. This was his best”and last”offense of the fight. Silva quickly floored Griffin with a left hand that left little doubt to the eventual outcome of the contest.

Silva, backing up, landed a perfect and almost effortless straight right that sent Griffin down for good. The referee didnt even bother to count as he waved his arms over the prone fighter as Silva celebrated his win. Griffin quickly exited the cage and, reportedly, the arena. Postfight reports suggested that he wanted to get immediate medical attention for a dislocated jaw suffered on the penultimate knockdown.

Silva’s message in his postfight interview was simple: I want to fight against the best. Whoever the best is at the time, I want to fight them. Though Silva didnt really affirm that hed be campaigning more at the heavier weight, that was the implicit message of his comment.

I just can’t stand to listen to it anymore. It’s an unfortunate reflection on us when we are mostly aware of how shallow it all is, but we just accept it anyway. All most people want is pithy, nonsensical platitudes in our music and quick pop psychology fixes until the end of their days.

Yet that’s another tangent altogether, so let’s get back to Kanye the moronic egomaniac. Should we expect better? Probably not~ As long as we reward idiocy with airplay, youtube clips and massive publicity, we’ll continue to get more of the same. Fame is sought after at all costs even should it be someone elses five minutes of fame that you’re taking. Why should we even care what these people say, sing or think about? There have mostly done nothing that warrants us valuing their opinion.

Of course, the same is true here – who cares what I say or do? Who I am to be giving my opinion?? Well, any ideas that present themselves in my little brain tend to find themselves emerging as a rant or rave – whether I’m qualified to comment on it or not.

The term ‘witchcraft’ has been used to outline any practice that involves wizardry, and the term ‘witchcraft’ appears to be defined by the culture and values counseled by each community. Sorcery is viewed by different groups with varying degrees of respect, suspicion, or indifference. But most cultures outline their own version of wizardry as either ‘good’ or ‘evil,’ and there is no middle ground.

Many see sorcery in any form in the same light that they view devilish ritual abuse ( SRA ). SRA is seen as physical and sexual abuse associated with devilish rituals or the occult. To these people it means that anything even remotely associated with sorcery is malevolent.

The label ‘witchcraft’ has been applied by most to any practice that is used to influence or control another person’s mind or body against their will and for malevolent purposes that may undermine the accepted social or religious order.

It is often hard to distinguish bad magic or ‘black magic’ from good magic or ‘white magic.’ White wizardry is intended to protect humans from black magic spells but white wizardry also uses ’spells’ and ‘connotations.
