6 A.M. I wake up naturally at this time each morning. I love waking up early and having time to myself before I begin my day. I meditate for 20 minutes, which I’ve been doing every morning for the past two years and it’s really changed my life.
7 A.M. I head to the kitchen to grab a Daily Harvest smoothie (not sponsored, just obsessed) and I take time to go through my inbox, scroll Instagram, and answer any DMs that came in overnight. I also without fail text my best friend ‘GMS’, which stands for ‘good morning, Sunshine!’ We’ve been doing this every morning for the past ten years and it’s a very special reminder of how lucky we are to have each other.
7:30 A.M. I hop in the shower after my kids leave for school and begin my morning ritual. I use Rahua Color Full Shampoo and Conditioner and I alternate between a few clean body wash options. Two or three times a week I exfoliate with our Coconut Citrus Scrub. It’s formulated with raw cane sugar for the perfect level of exfoliation and coconut and jojoba oils for intense hydration. Its invigorating scent is also great for early morning wakeups.
For skincare, I cleanse with our Rosehip Cleanser and follow with our CoQ-10 Toner. CoQ-10’s antioxidant benefits protect from pollution and environmental aggressors. Hyaluronic Acid and Aloe Vera leave my skin perfectly prepped for the rest of my skincare ritual. I finish with one part Squalane Facial Oil and one part Swiss Apple Serum. This combo leaves my skin plump and glowy, which is great since I don’t wear foundation and I work from home most days. On those WFH days, I’ll be rocking a top knot, yoga pants and comfy pullover. Makeup optional.
8 A.M. I’m well into my day. Around this time I make myself a hot lemon water (I don’t do caffeine but I do make an exception for a good matcha – that’s healthy, right?) and I spend some time on my bullet journal. It’s my recent obsession, so feel free to DM me any tips!
8:30 A.M. I take a break and take the dogs out for a walk or a run around the yard. If it’s spring to early fall, you’ll find me in my greenhouse for a little break with Mother Nature – and yes, the rumors are true, it does have a crystal chandelier 😉
9 A.M. It’s off to the races!
