Your home is your haven–the place you retreat to after a long day, your sanctuary in which you binge on an endless stream of Netflix shows. We spend hours each day in our spaces, which means décor can influence our moods and mindsets. Below, find the pieces Newsette HQ team members are currently loving.

  1. Disco Max Candle. Nothing quite transforms a space like a scent. That’s why there’s always a candle burning in my office. I got this one as a gift, and it’s indulgent like a spa day—plus, it’s as beautiful as a Caribbean sunset.
  2. Mykonos Muse Book. I went to Greece with my family a few years back, and this playful book (especially the cover) reminds me of Mykonos’ legendary beauty. It’s especially perfect as a coffee table decoration in the summer months.
  3. Balloon Doggy Money Bank. This super chic and playful gold doggy bank reminds me of my beautiful poodle. And there’s no better décor piece than one that makes you smile.

  1. Poolside with Slim Aarons. This may be my mother talking, but no table is complete without a coffee table book. I have stacks on stacks of them at home, but I particularly adore this Slim Aarons one in particular. It’s the perfect blend of wanderlust and glamour, plus that color palette is to die for.
  2. French Bar Soap. Anyone else obsessed with luxe-looking bathroom decor and products? Just me? Ok. Well, I try and dress up my sink and cabinets as much as I can and I found that a bar of lavender or lemon French soap in a sterling silver dish fancies things up just enough in a room that is usually overlooked.
  3. Blanket Basket. I’m always cold, so I have an endless supply of blankets. Problem: finding a way to store them in a chic way instead of having them piled in a corner/on my bed/on a chair. Solution: a simple woven basket. It instantly gives the room a rustic look, plus keeps things looking neat!

  1. Big Book of The Hamptons. I love the title and color of this book. It is a perfect coffee table book and so fun for guests to flip though.
  2. Malin+Goetz Candle. These are my favorite candles of all time. I love the Neroli and Otto scents. Their yummy smell fills up an entire room.
  3. Martini Shaker. A martini shaker has been one of the best-used purchases I’ve gotten. Whenever I have guests, it is a great way to mix and chill any drink people want. It makes hosting friends for drinks that much better.

  1. Marble Desk. I recently moved apartments and went from having a separate office space to needing to put my desk in my living room area. Knowing that a bulky wooden table might not go with the aesthetic I’d spent lots of time carefully curating, I was thrilled to find this marble desk on CB2. Instead of sticking out like a sore thumb, my desk is now one of my favorite pieces in my apartment.
  2. Shiny Silver Bar Stools. Like many of us, I love coffee shops. Their look, their coffee smell…it’s all dreamy to me. So, when I found these coffee-shop-inspired shiny silver bar stools on CB2, I knew they’d be the perfect addition to my space. Bonus? Their flat tops make the perfect place to deposit my purse and other bags when I first walk through the door.
  3. Lip Balm-Scented Candle. In my opinion, the scents that conjure up nostalgic-soaked memories are the best ones. This chic, cheekily-designed candle summons recollections of middle school, and is a dreamy homage to the cherry-flavored lip balm we all tried at least once.

  1. In the Company of Women. This inspirational book by Grace Bonney features advice from over 100 inspirational women who’ve overcome obstacles to start their careers. It features women from all industries and perfectly illustrates what it takes to be successful while at the same time, focusing on the importance of helping out other women so they too can achieve their goals. It also serves as a great coffee table book!
  2. Robert Browning quote dish. “The best is yet to be.” I’m a big motivational quote gal and this perfect little dish is a great reminder that each day is a fresh start. Whether it’s throwing my earrings or necklace on the dish or using it as a coaster, I love to be reminded that there’s always something to look forward to and to keep on pushing toward.
  3. Voluspa, Goji Tarocco Orange Candle. My former Anthropologie sales associate self comes out every time I light this candle. The tangy and sweet smell is the perfect scent for those peaceful evening post-work vibes.

  1. Love Style Life by Garance Dore. In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with a good coffee table book. I love using them as décor, stacking novels and magazines with a candle or pretty box. I love Love Style Life by the ultimate style expert, Garance Dore. The exterior is pretty, but I can also spend hours rifling through its pages.

  2. Quibe Line Art. I love this series of art by French illustrator Quibe. All of the pictures are drawn with only a few thin black lines. The minimal designs are simple, so they fit into a variety of interiors. I have the female silhouette hanging in my bedroom.
  3. Brooklyn Candle Studio Candle. Now that fall is on its way, I love to burn a good candle as the weather starts to turn. Brooklyn Candle Studio’s candles have a simple minimalist exterior that looks nice on your bedside table or dresser. After I burn these, I like to save the outside container to hold earrings, makeup brushes, etc.  My favorite scent is Sunday Morning.
