Breakfast

What I eat: Oatmeal cooked with a mixture of almond milk and water, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, half a teaspoon of vanilla extract and cooked apples (chopped)–topped with seasonal farmers market fruit and nuts. Right now, I’m loving figs, nectarines, strawberries, blueberries, walnuts, and slivered almonds. Then, I finish it with a drizzle of peanut butter or almond butter on top.

How I make it or where I get it: On the stove, so easy!

What are other wellness activities or habits that make you feel like your best self?

I use a dry brush on my body before I shower in the morning and apply my favorite True Botanicals radiance body and face oils. I cherish my shower and truly view it as a morning meditation, sending gratitude to every part of my body, my senses and how lucky I am to experience another day. I make sure to get to the ocean and breathe in the fresh ocean air every single day. I try to walk as much as possible, and only get in my car when I absolutely have to. I watch the sunset with my family, and put away our phones once we are all together and done with the work day. Being with my husband and daughter is food for my soul and our morning + nighttime routine together brings me tremendous joy and pleasure.
