Jaclyn Ferber and Nadine Abramcyk are the founders of tenoverten, a company creating non-toxic nail care. Jaclyn is the brand’s creative director, and mixed the matches for tenoverten’s first color collection with an art palette knife she used in college at Parsons School of Design. She’s passionate about clean beauty, working with the brand’s chemists to make great natural products, and has a little boy named Phoenix. Nadine works to make safer nail care more accessible every day, is a mother of three, and is a Manhattanite who loves summer (but only when it goes along with large doses of SPF). Below, these impressive co-founders give us a peek into their morning routines.
6:30 A.M.
Jaclyn: Depends on when my 4-year-old crawls into our room, but I usually wake up at this time. Or, if I’m up at night with our son, my husband does morning duty so I can get a little more rest. First thing I do before I even stand up is drink a full glass of water. It’s become my morning and evening ritual since I am not great about staying hydrated throughout the day.
7 A.M.
Nadine: Usually, my newborn is ready to be fed and is quickly followed by my 5 and 7-year-olds climbing into bed for a quick snuggle before the mad dash out the door. I stay in my robe for this hour and will drink a large glass of warm water with plenty of lemon and turmeric. I also take a probiotic daily with Vitamin D and Omega 3 supplements.
7:30 A.M.
Jaclyn: I try to make celery juice for myself and my husband first thing daily. Then we divide and conquer, taking turns getting ready and sorting out our son. Sometimes I’m out the door at 7:30 for an 8am workout at LekFit if my husband does school drop off. If not, breakfast is in motion, and a quick check of emails, but I try to stay offline until my son leaves, since we don’t have that much time together in the morning. I clean and prep my skin pretty religiously morning and night so I cleanse using Osea ocean cleanser, Future beauty drops, True Botanicals radiance oil, and Super Goop sunscreen.
Nadine: My older two are typically eating breakfast at this point and if I’m lucky I am able to make myself a coconut milk latte and get dressed for school run. I usually scan my email at this time to make sure nothing urgent has come up with work
 8:30 A.M.
Jaclyn: Heading out the door to school drop off. We all take our vitamins, Phoenix included, and Phoenix decides the playlist for the car ride which lately has been Imagine Dragons or Queen.
Nadine: En route to school, which is a lovely 10-minute walk through the West Village. We feel so fortunate to live close enough to school to walk.
8:45 A.M.
Nadine: Heading back home to feed the baby and fit in a workout.
9 A.M.
Jaclyn: Drive down Nichols canyon for school drop-off which fortunately is only about 15 minutes, ideal in LA morning traffic! Walk my son into class and make sure to get a big squeeze before the mad dash out to either a workout or a conference call. But always with a pit stop for coffee, a single shot almond milk latte or matcha latte if I need more of an energy boost.
Nadine: I usually stream Tracy Anderson and have been exploring other at-home workout options since I no longer have time to make it to a class. I like Melissa Wood Health and Megan Roup on Obé’s platform.
9:30 A.M.
Jaclyn: If I didn’t get in an early workout I try to make it into LekFit for bounce class, this has been my go-to workout for the past couple of years in the studio or via Lauren’s streaming classes. If not, I usually head back to my home office to jump on responses needed on the East Coast due to the time difference and then head into our Culver City salon or off-site meetings in the afternoons.
Nadine: Still exercising.
10 A.M.
Jaclyn: Still either working out or back home in a full swing of calls and emails.
Nadine: Making myself a celery-based green juice and putting it in a mason jar to take to the office. Our office is at our Fulton St salon, which I love so I get to interact with our employees everyday even if I don’t make it to all four NYC salons daily.
