Rachel Krupa is the founder of the LA-based PR group Krupa Consulting and The Goods Mart, a store filled with upgrades to typical convenience store products. Before becoming the founder of two brands, Rachel worked in politics, sports, and then landed in PR after meeting successful publicist Lizzie Grubman. Now, she ping-pongs between New York and LA, so, “having a nightly routine is essential… even if that means I have to do it on the plane! I actually really enjoy my ‘airplane office’ – it’s five hours of getting a lot of work done without distractions and decompressing.” Below, this boss tells us exactly what this nightly routine entails.

30 P.M. During my day, I’m in meetings or on calls, so around 5pm is when I start to dive into emails. At 6:30pm is when I schedule most of my meetings with the west coast teams of both Krupa Consulting and The Goods Mart as well as start to hammer through emails.

00 P.M. I normally leave the office, then stop by The Goods Mart to check in before walking home! On the walk, I listen to more calming music to start to transition into ending my day.

30 P.M. I change into my pajamas, turn on my Himalayan salt lamp, dim the lights in favor of a candle and burn some incense. I also love putting on some type of face mask or scrub (Acure Brightening Face Mask is a go-to), and getting nestled under a blanket on my couch before finishing off my emails for the evening. These calming rituals help me unwind from the day.

30 P.M. I make myself dinner. I don’t like to work and eat at the same time, so I tend to have late dinners once I’ve put my computer or phone away for the night. It’s my time to fully decompress for the day and calm my mind. I also watch something on Netflix or Hulu and always have a piece of chocolate – a Little Secret Chocolate Wafer, Tony’s Chocolonely, or a scoop of McConnell’s vegan Cookies & Cream.

30 P.M. It’s time to prep for bed! I turn on my aromatherapy diffuser which fills the room with beautiful, relaxing scents. I take CBD (Plant People Extra Strength Tincture), my Chinese herbs from WTHN, a probiotic, and magnesium. I finish prepping my skin for bed with serums, lots of moisturizer, eye cream, and a Lavender Hemp Sleeping Mask from Fleur Marché. I jade roll the products onto my skin for extra absorption and just because it feels so soothing!

00 P.M. I spray rose water on my pillow, burn some palo santo, and tuck myself into bed. I jot down some final thoughts or ideas in my journal, set my alarm, and switch off the lights! Good Night!!!!
