Today I Will...

HAVE A PJ PARTY WITH AMY.
Nothing feels better at the end of a long day than slipping into your fav pajamas, and Amy Voloshin (she/her), co-founder and creative director of sleepwear and lifestyle brand Printfresh, just so happens to make them.
“I’ve always loved fashion. Growing up, my parents were furniture and industrial designers so I spent most of my early childhood in their design office,” says Amy. “I loved functional design, and have always been fascinated with art. After studying textiles at the Rhode Island School of Design, and working for major fashion brands, I really wanted to set out on my own and create a line that was size inclusive and celebrated elevated prints and styles for every body.”
Printfresh’s sizes range from XXS to 6X, are made for standard, petite, and tall people, and come in sleepwear sets, dresses, robes, nightgowns, and more! Not to mention their fun, bold, and unique designs are one of a kind. Their decor doesn’t disappoint, either, which is why Amy has no problem bringing her work home. “Back when I used to design for so many different apparel companies, I liked my home to be very minimal and simple to give me some calm from all the pattern and color I was surrounded by in my day-to-day. Since Printfresh has our own home collection now, I’ve loved incorporating our more feminine patterns and colors into our space.”
Keep reading for Amy’s nightly routine, like what she’s wearing to bed, her must-have skincare products, and the show that helps her unwind.
5:30 P.M. My schedule is pretty all over the place. A typical workday is a mixture of team chats, virtual meetings with partners and outside vendors, and design work whenever I can squeeze it in in-between. Being a working mom, there can be a lot of variability at the end of the day.
6:00 P.M. I live close to the office, so I walk home which is a nice way to clear my head. I like to switch into something more comfortable, like our pajamas (I’m loving the Pumpkin Patch Long Sleeve Set right now). Then, I get the kids ready for their after-school activities or start making dinner. Cooking is a nice change from all the digital work, so I find it quite relaxing.
7 P.M. I keep it uncomplicated on weeknights, and I like to do meal prep on Sundays to make it easier. Salmon roll ups are a family fav. I broil salmon and mix it with dijon mustard and mayo, and roll it all up in peeled cucumber slices. It’s so delicious and everyone in the family loves it. Otherwise, I make grilled chicken and veggies.
8 P.M. I like to watch my favorite shows before bed, which helps me stop working and gives me a chance to decompress. I’m watching High Fidelity right now and love it.
9 P.M. My skincare routine is pretty simple, especially since I have very sensitive skin. I love Tata Harper Softening Cleanser, Murad Replenishing Multi-Acid Peel, and Cosmedix Harmonize Moisturizer. I also can’t live without my Sonicare toothbrush! I do my beauty routine later than I’d like, but at least it happens. Once I get in bed, I also like to use a Gua Sha to relax my face muscles. I try to get a facial once a month since I am low-key on a daily basis. These monthly occasions definitely help to properly exfoliate and keep my skin clear.
9:30 P.M. I love to read fiction at night on my kindle. I enjoy all types of literary fiction and I find it relaxing to indulge in a good book before bed. I also like reading non-fiction, but I save that for the daytime.
