Who I’m Walking For:
My Grandma Della, whose resilient spirit is the foundation of our family. She lost her battle with breast cancer at the young age of 42, leaving behind her four beloved children—including my mom, who was just 17 at the time. I hope to honor my grandma’s memory with this walk, and contribute to the fight against this disease that continues to take away so many of our loved ones.
Why I’m Joining to Make Strides:
I want to see cancer treatment and support become more accessible for everyone. Cancer affects all communities, and no one should feel alone in their journey. We’re not only raising money for life-changing research, we’re also making strides to support health equity through essential programs and services for people of all walks of life. |
