WAKE UP BRIGHT AND EARLY WITH AGATHA.

Oily birds get the worm. Agatha Relota Luczo (she/her) has one of the most impressive resumes we’ve seen to date. She’s gone from global cover star and runway model to olive oil sommelier to founder and chief creative officer of Furtuna Skin. Today, you can find her clean skincare brand available at a variety of different retailers including Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bluemercury, and Anthropologie to name a few. We caught up with the entrepreneur to get a closer look at what a beauty brand founder’s morning routine really looks like.

6 A.M. I wake up at 6 A.M. with my phone alarm. We have four kids, so our day starts early. I get out of bed quickly and do my daily shot of olive oil, followed by a cup of warm water and lemon and my skincare ritual. EVOO contains anti-inflammatory properties that improve gut health, antioxidant benefits that help prevent photodamage, and sterols that reduce trans-epidermal water loss, locking in skin moisture. I take it on an empty stomach so that my body gets the full benefit of the nutrients without any other food interference. I have been doing this for the last five years, and the ritual has transformed my hair, skin, and nails, and I also have more energy and mental clarity than ever before.

6:15 A.M. I don’t take long showers as it dries out the skin. Three times a week, while I’m in the shower, I will apply Goop’s G.Tox 5 Salt Detox Body Scrub. I try to avoid washing my hair every day if I can and instead use Crown Affair’s dry shampoo to freshen up my look. When I wash my hair, I use David Mallett shampoo and conditioner. I apply GOOPGENES Nourishing Repair Body Butter as soon as I step out of the shower.

I use multi-functional products that give me the desired results in half the time. That includes Furtuna Skin’s Micellar Cleansing Essence, which combines the gentle cleansing of micellar water with the pH-balancing benefits of a toner and the antioxidant boost of an essence. I follow this with our Face & Eye Serum which evens out my skin tone, before applying our bestselling BiPhase Moisturizing Oil, which leaves everyone’s skin glowing. Sometimes I mix it with Westman Atelier’s Complexion Drops to create my own tinted oil. Next, I apply their Westman Butter Powder Bronzer to warm up my face and the Baby Cheeks Blush Stick in Chouchette for a flush of color. I’ll also use their Squeaky Clean Liquid Lip Balm in Garconne to hydrate my lips and usually finish my look with the Eye Love You Mascara, adding natural-looking volume to lashes.

7 A.M. I get dressed before breakfast and after my shower. If I go to the gym or do some yoga flows at home––Melissa Wood Health’s app is my favorite––I’ll wear workout clothes. If I’m not working out, I usually wear jeans and a t-shirt, with a blazer or scarf, depending on the weather. I always carry a blazer, scarf, and high heels with me when I travel––it’s my three-piece uniform.

7:10 A.M. When the kids are in school in Paris, we have to leave the house by 7:45 A.M., so we usually have breakfast around 7:10 A.M. to ensure we’re out the door on time. I love making their breakfast and packing their lunches. My breakfast usually consists of a bowl of fruit or eggs with avocado with Furtuna Skin’s LXR06 Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) drizzled on top.

8:45 A.M. Then, I always check emails to begin my work day.
