If you follow street style, women’s media, or just cool girls you wish you knew, Lindsay Peoples Wagner is probably on your radar. The youngest Editor-in-Chief in Condé Nast history, Lindsay is also a champion of equality, a fashion powerhouse, and–as you’ll soon see–a total Christmas boss. Originally from Wisconsin, Lindsay was a Teen Vogue fashion intern before climbing the ranks to Fashion Editor at The Cut, and eventually circling back around to top the Teen Vogue masthead. (She recently celebrated her one year anniversary.) This #holidayszn, we asked her to share with our readers how she celebrates.

What is your absolute favorite holiday tradition?
I love making s’mores on Christmas Eve and going through our stockings that my mom has kept since I was a baby! It’s a fun tradition, and my parents still dress up in Santa costumes which is hilarious.

How do you manage stress during the holidays?
I think for me it’s getting a lot of stuff done now so I can really take time off and not be so chained to my email. I don’t like being off work but still having to answer slacks, and I really try to have off time and decompress. I have a countdown app on my phone so I can tell people I’m only in office X amount of days, so if you need something ask before I’m out of office!

Please describe your favorite holiday dish to prepare and/or eat during the holidays.
I actually cook all the food for my family during Christmas because my parents are over it, and my sister doesn’t cook, so I do the whole spread. But I love making my peach cobbler–it’s a yummy, southern, sugary dish and it always goes away so fast because everyone loves it!

The holidays are all about relaxing and spending time with your loved ones. Can you please describe your ideal cozy and calm day?
An ideal day is spending time with my niece and nephew, watching some corny Lifetime or Hallmark movie, making some cookies with my family, and just in general, enjoying family quality time.

Rapid-fire question round:
Gingerbread or sugar cookies? SUGAR

My favorite holiday movie is: THE PREACHER’S WIFE

What’s one gift you remember wanting as a child? AN AMERICAN GIRL DOLL

One cause I’d like to spotlight this holiday season is: (F)EMPOWER
