It’s the end of the week and you’re most likely counting the hours until you get to sleep in. But catching some extra zzz’s isn’t the only way to treat yourself after a long week. We’ve rounded up the most effective, fun, and affordable ways to pamper yourself after a long week in the spirit of a relaxing and rejuvenating weekend.

Make an at-home face mask

Treat your skin with ingredients you already have in your kitchen. Whip up a detoxifying and moisturizing face mask by mixing one tablespoon of honey and half a squeezed lemon into a bowl. Then, apply it to your face directly after the shower and leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Wash it away, and follow up with your favorite moisturizer or serum.

Make yourself unavailable

Warning: This may not be for everyone. We suggest that you select one day (or even two) to be completely on your own. Whether that’s going to a farmer’s market solo or just lounging around the house and reading a good book. Take this time to focus solely on yourself, to recharge after a hectic work week.

Visit a museum

There’s a certain feeling you get when you see something completely new, so why not treat yourself to a day at the museum or an art gallery? Take your time to study every piece, and try to immerse yourself in the experience. Plus, because you’re there on your own accord and not on a school field trip, you’ll actually be able to enjoy yourself.
Not into the above? Other suggestions are treating yourself to a nice bathmaking your favorite (maybe not so healthy) dinner, and taking a blanket somewhere outside to watch the sunset.
