With the warm weather here, it’s hard not to want a fun drink to end your long day or to start your night out. Creative cocktails are a great way to celebrate any occasion, and something about the summer makes us want them even more than usual. For your ultimate guide to summer cocktails, we’ve pulled together five of our favorite recipes from some top spots. Whether you’re having a dinner party or treating yourself after a job well done, we hope you’ll try them out.

Spicy Watermelon Margarita

Ingredients:
2oz Tequila blanco
1oz Fresh lime juice
2oz Pieces of fresh watermelon juice
1/2 Jalapeno
Directions: Cut watermelon into cubes and puree in blender (we leave the pulp, you can strain). In a shaker, muddle half a jalapeno with a sugar cube. Combine all the ingredients and shake. Bee Sting

Ingredients:
One slice jalapeño
.5oz Honey
2oz Reposado tequila
.5oz Fresh lemon juice

Shandy’s Passion

Ingredients:
4 oz Passionfruit American Pale Ale
.5oz Pama pomegranate
.5 oz Fireball whiskey
.5oz Luxardo maraschino
.5oz Lemon Juice
Directions: Dry shake all ingredients except for beer in a mixing glass, pour mix into an 8oz serving glass, add ice and top with 4 oz of Passion Fruit American Pale Ale and garnish with lemon peel. (Recipe courtesy of Clinton Hall)

Shakerato

Ingredients:
Double espresso
.5oz of amaretto
.5oz of simple syrup
Directions: Combine simple syrup, espresso and amaretto in a shaker tin and fill full of ice. Heavy shake to create a fully aerated, almost fluffy beverage and strain! (Recipe courtesy of DiAnoia’s Eatery)

Beets by Dr. D

Ingredients:
1.5 oz of Mezal
.5 oz of fresh lemon juice
2.0 oz of Natalies Beet Orange juice (but any brand will do)
