Stevie Dance is a photographer, fashion director, creative director, and entrepreneur. This multi-hyphenate has worked behind the camera with famous clients like Bella Hadid, and recently launched Feel Studio Inc Jeans–a sustainable denim line that makes crazy comfortable jeans in an iconic shade of indigo that has been sustainably washed, and even caught the eye of the New York Times. With these many job titles, Stevie is always on the go, so we asked her to share exactly what she packs when she’s traveling across the globe. Find all of the details below.
How often do you travel? Are these trips mostly domestic or international?
Weekly, between New York, Los Angeles and Paris largely.
What type/brand of bag do you use as your carry-on? What do you pack inside of it?
Since I began traveling endlessly, I have become more streamlined and practical. Gone is any handbag. In its place, a Muji black backpack and Rimowa wheel on. I value function when I am traveling now, far more than anything else and both of these pieces allow me to not look a mess and get from A to B without having to think about.
What goes inside:
- Liposomal Vitamin C sachets to keep my immune system and skin rejuvenated.
- Propolis and manuka throat spray to stay hydrated in the air-conditioning.
- A grape seed extract nose spray, to also stay hydrated in the air-conditioning
- A cashmere Hermes scarf which multitasks as a blanket, plane pillow and eye mask.
- Headphones–any kind as I’m normally losing them and replacing them at a whim at the airport, unfortunately.
- Fiji water X 100. I drink water around the clock when I fly, as staying hydrated helps minimize my jetlag.
- Wellness formula caps, as I have found they prevent me from catching a cold which is often floating about.
- An apple! To avoid plane food.
- Dr Sturm personalized face cream, to keep my skin feeling hugged.
