Stephanie Palacci is the Co-Founder of LEBON, the glamorous luxury oral care brand she started with her husband, Richard. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Stephanie was an art historian and photographer. Now, her brand of organic toothpastes (which include certified-organic aloe vera and green tea to naturally help protect gums) can be found at top retailers, including Anthropologie and Fred Segal. When she’s not creating luxurious oral care products, Stephanie loves tasting new dishes, is a romantic at heart, and enjoys a peaceful atmosphere filled with plants. Below, she shares her go-to travel tips.
How often do you travel? Are these trips mostly domestic or international?
Between 10 and 15 trips per year, mostly international (but in Europe, you are very quickly “international”).
What type/brand of bag do you use as your carry-on? What do you pack inside of it?
I always carry a big bag that I can carry on my shoulder and/or in the hollow of the arm. My favorite is Repetto
What goes inside:

  1. Nuxe Lip Balm. My lips are very sensitive and get dry very quickly. Lip balm is perfect for keeping them moisturized, especially when I travel, or at night before sleeping. Furthermore, it always smells good. The one I prefer is from a French apothecary and smells like vanilla cake!
  2. Caudalie Hand Moisturizer. Hands have to be cared for. I like clean, nice hands, with or without nail polish doesn’t matter to me, but they have to be soft, nourished and protected to look good.
  3. Apple Headphones. I love listening to my music when I am in the car, plane or even if I have to focus prior to an important meeting. At the office we always work with music on, luckily everyone loves it.
  4. Little notes left from my children. My children used to leave me notes on my bed, or on the table with just a few words and drawings. They’ve since grown up and do not do it as often anymore, but I’ve kept a few in my pocket book to have with me all the time.
  5. Phone. Of course… I cannot live without it, which is sad, maybe. On the other hand, it allows me to work from everywhere so it gives me a kind of freedom that I cherish.
  6. Ray-Ban Sunglasses. Like my lips, my eyes are very sensitive (I cannot wear any eye makeup), so I switch between my regular glasses and my sunglasses all the time and am completely lost if I don’t have them.
  7. Hair and eyebrows brush. My hair is long, I like to wear it in a ponytail at work, but I take it straight out as soon as I leave the office. I’ve also always brushed my eyebrows, way before it was even a trend.
  8. Agent Nateur deodorant. Working in beauty and oral care means hygiene and freshness are essential for me to feel confident all day long. I am very careful when selecting the brands I use, and Agent Nateur is the best deodorant I’ve found.
  9. Longchamp Wallet. It’s an essential, so of course!
  10. Keys. Necessity!
