What’s most rewarding about my work is empowering my clients to look and feel their best no matter the situation.” As you can imagine, this impressive stylist flies constantly to help her famous clients look incredible at the world’s biggest events, and she broke down exactly what she packs below (take notes).

How often do you travel? Are these trips mostly domestic or international?
I travel quite often – for both work and personal trips! I love international travel and recently jetted off to Spain, where I grew up. My mother is from Spain, so I’ve spent many summers in Barcelona, and it’s a big part of my life. I also spend quite a bit of time in New York, London and Paris for work, but I love calling Santa Monica home.

What type/brand of bag do you use as your carry-on? What do you pack inside of it?
I’ve had an old leather Tumi carry-on for years that I still travel with. Another great option out there right now is the Time and Tru Burgundy Fur Tote – for only $14.97, it’s especially luxe and on-trend for the season.

What goes inside:
Time and Tru Women’s Open Front Cardigan. This is the perfect wear-with-anything cardigan that I take with me everywhere I go. It’s so comfortable and stylish – plus, I’m always chilly on long plane rides! I have one in every color this season and love its versatility.
Phone charger. The nature of my job means I’m always on the phone – talking with clients, coordinating shoots and catching up with family while I travel. That drives my phone battery down so quickly that I always keep a handy charger on me!
Lip balm. This is my one addiction and my favorites range from high to low. I always have Cherry Chapstick but I also always have Suqqu Lip Balm, which is only available in Japan!
Time and Tru Women’s Loafer. I’m known for my flat shoes, and I always make sure to stash a comfy-cute pair of flats or loafers in my carry-on. These chic loafers from Time and Tru look great with skinny jeans and are an elegant alternative to heels. Plus, I can kick them off easily when going through security!
A good book on my iPadA good book is a must-have when travelling! My books are all on my iPad so I can have all my options. Right now, I’m reading Michelle Obama’s autobiography!
Ear Planes. These ear plugs are very helpful for anyone who has trouble with their ears when flying. I always have them! I’m one of those people, which is a bummer since my whole family dives.
Prescription sunglasses. A great pair of sunglasses can take any look from boring to bold. Since I wear glasses, mine are transition lenses and my current favorites are my red Ray-Bans because I love how the fun frames add a pop of color to my outfit.
Passport. I’m constantly jetting around the globe – from France to Spain to Dubai to England and back to the States again! I always have to be ready for travel.
W Magazine and NY Times Magazine. I got my start in editorial fashion at these two places, spending several years at each, and love to keep up with what they are doing.
Hand lotion. Good skincare is all about moisturizing! I can’t live without my hand lotion, especially when I’m traveling.
