Babba C. Rivera is the founder of her prestigious namesake marketing agency, bybabba. Before becoming an entrepreneur, she famously launched Uber in Stockholm with great success, using strategies that made it the fastest-growing launch city at the time. Then, Babba took her talents to Away, where she held the role of Director of Brand Marketing for the luggage giant. Her success earned her a spot on Forbes’ “30 Under 30” at twenty-five-years-old—and, shortly after, she started her own marketing firm. Nowadays, Babba works with world-renowned clients, and runs a fast-growing company based in NYC, with outposts in Europe. Below, this marketing genius gives us a peek into a typical morning in her work week.

00 A.M. I set my alarm for 6am and snooze for about 10-15 minutes, before getting myself up and out of bed to start the day. I make myself a quick smoothie made with almond milk, banana, and Welleco’s Chocolate Protein Powder, then throw on some clothes, and head to a 7am SoulCycle class in my neighborhood.

00 A.M. Afterwards, I head home and grab Blue to take her for a walk. Since the weather is warm here in New York right now, the best time to fit in a nice walk is in the morning, when it is coolest outside. We love to walk along the Brooklyn Promenade. My current go-to look is the Outdoor Voices exercise dress. It’s lightweight, designed for movement, and really comfortable.

30 A.M. Then I go home, shower, and apply my skincare regime. I’m currently loving my custom-made Prose Shampoo and Conditioner. I wash my face with Bjork & Berries gentle face cleanser, then apply a soothing B3 serum by Kristina Holy x Marie Veronique, followed by Carrot Seed Oil by Violets Are Blue and Tata Harper Illuminating Eye Cream. I then make a proper breakfast at home. My breakfast generally consists of overnight oats, unless I am on a Sakara Life plan, in which I would eat one of their tasty breakfasts, while taking a glance at my emails. I like to get a quick look at what is ahead of me for the day.

30 A.M. I call an Uber and head to the office. During the ride from Brooklyn Heights to Spring Place, I love to listen to a podcast episode. My current favorites are How I Built This, Goop Podcast, and Oprah’s Super Soul Conversations. If needed, car rides are also a time for me to catch up on my emails before heading into the office.

00 A.M. I arrive to the office and usually have my first meeting of the day. More often than not, this consists of a call with someone from our Swedish office or a Swedish client/partner. We opened our Europe office based in Stockholm this March, and it has been so fulfilling to watch the office grow and to be working with dream clients, including Bumble and YSL Beauty.

00 P.M. Around 12pm, I eat lunch at the restaurant of our office, Spring Place. I usually order the market bowl of the day or something vegan from their wellness menu.
