"I think I could do better with my sleeping habits,” says Brittany Sky. Because of her nocturnal job, she’s pulled more all-nighters than the Cullen family… and still manages to slay her various creative projects. (Is life fair? No…) We asked Brittany to take us through her late night / early morning hours.

7:30 P.M. Sometimes, my work day doesn’t start until 7:30 or 8 P.M. I’m one of those creatives where I’m typically up really late at night… The creative juices just flow better at that time.

8:00 P.M. I know this isn’t what you want to hear, but I don’t have the best diet… When I know I’m going to be up late, I try to have a lighter meal, like a smoothie. I typically have a big breakfast and for lunch I just go ham.

9:00 P.M.  Tonight I’m filming a beauty routine with my favorite products from 2019. It shouldn’t take too long to film…  I feel like it will take maybe 45 minutes. And depending on how much energy I have, I will edit it that night. Once you actually film the video, you get so excited to see the finished product.

10:00 P.M.  The whole process [of editing] takes about two and a half hours. And that’s just for IGTV… A YouTube video is way more time consuming. I’m a Virgo, so I’m very, very particular about what I do.

12:30 A.M. When I’m done editing, my mind is usually wired. My friends will ask me, “Girl, why were you texting me [so late]?” Sometimes I’ll go on Instagram or watch other peoples YouTube videos.

2:00 A.M. Right now my show is Queen of the South… I just binge-watched it, and I only have a few episodes left. I’ve been hooked on it, I was literally watching it while I was shooting b-roll the other day.

4:30 A.M. I never fall asleep with makeup on my face. I don’t care how tired I am or how hard I partied. I use the Mario Badescu acne cream cleanser and glycolic acid toner. I also love Drunk Elephant products… They have a jelly cleanser I use when I travel. And Peter Thomas Roth has a spot treatment that I love.

5 A.M. I’ve gotten better at it, but sometimes I go to sleep at like 5 or 6 A.M. I’ll download music in the middle of the night, or make a mix, or start practicing for a set that’s coming up and usually fall asleep with my phone under my pillow.
