“Be kind to others” is a given. “Be kind to yourself” is supposed to be, too–at least according to Priscilla Tsai. The founder and CEO of Cocokind, Priscilla knows the importance of daily routine to jump-start a day of wellbeing. How does the former i-banker set up her morning, and set herself up for success? We asked her.

6:30 A.M. I wake up around 6:30 am and the first thing I do is make myself a superfood latte or tonic. My favorite ingredients to use are chicory, chlorella, turmeric, acerola powder, and ashwagandha. I don’t eat breakfast because I intermittent fast until around noon.

6:45 A.M. I get dressed and head to the gym. On my way there, I’ll usually put on a podcast. These days, I’m loving Sophia Bush’s “Work in Progress.”

7:00 A.M. When I get to the gym, I’ll typically do 20 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes on the pilates reformer. I’ve gone to enough pilates classes that I’ve gotten comfortable making my own personal reformer routine.

8:00 A.M. I go to the Bay Club. They have an amazing spa situation… It’s honestly the main reason I joined. I’ll take a quick shower and spend some time in the sauna or jacuzzi. I usually make sure to put on a facial oil and sometimes, I’ll also put a face mask on before getting in the jacuzzi. After all of this, I’ll take a cold shower. I’m a big believer in hot/cold contrast therapy because it reduces inflammation in the body.

8:30 A.M. I honestly don’t take a lot of time to get ready in the morning and my routine is basically all skincare. I’ll usually start by cleansing with an oil to milk cleanser. If I feel a breakout coming on, I’ll tone with a raspberry vinegar toner or spritz on some rosewater. Then I use a little glow essence, a vitamin C serum, an oil moisturizer, and SPF. Sometimes I’ll do a light layer of makeup, and I’ll always swipe on our Cocokind highlighters.

9:00 A.M. I drive to work and then start catching up on emails and social media. I always make sure to check out any Instagram content that our community has tagged us in, too!
