Time I wake up: My job can have some crazy early call times where I am up before most of the world but this would be my morning routine for an average weekday. I try to be up by 7 A.M., but depending on my level of jet lag, that snooze button might take me until 8 A.M. or so. When I first wake up, I like to take 10 minutes to meditate and set intentions for the day. I find it really makes a difference in my mood, focus and motivation. Next, I check my phone for any urgent emails or texts that need a response right away and then I check social media.
8 A.M. I am up and ready to start my day. I am obsessed with my Sonicare toothbrush and literally got them for my family for Christmas so everyone could see why I have been raving about mine. Sounds crazy but I actually don’t wash my face in the morning. The oils my face creates throughout the night are so important to preserve for hydration. Quick shake or a banana and I am in the gym! My favorite workouts right now are kick boxing, spinning, and barre. I also really love the Kayla Itsines at-home workouts, they kick my butt!
9 A.M. Once my workout is complete, I love to cook a delicious breakfast for myself including eggs, toast, fruit and either coffee or tea. One of my favorite things to do on the weekend is go to my local farmers market and get local fruits and veggies for the week. I recently got a juicer, so sometimes I will also use my vegetables from the market to make a green juice to power charge my day. I usually use whatever is in my fridge, but my favorite combination is kale, cucumber, apple, and ginger.
9:30 A.M. I am in the shower and getting ready for the day. Tip: Try swapping your shaving cream with coconut oil, it moisturizes your skin and leaves your legs silky smooth. Picking out my outfit for the day has become a lot more fun since I renovated my closet. Before the renovation, I was using pop-up rolling racks and boxes! Now I can clearly see all of my clothes and my jewelry is laid out in drawers rather than a ziplock bag.  My go-to outfit is a well-fitting pair of jeans, a basic white t, a luxe handbag and a pair of sexy heels. My short hair has made doing my hair pretty fast but I usually like to go with a sleek low bun or an S wave using my GHD straightener and some good hairspray like L’Oreal Elnett. I prefer to let my hair air dry. Once a week or so I try to do a coconut mask for shine. My makeup look lately has been really natural for daytime. I love Bare Minerals powder foundation with SPF to even out and protect my skin. I usually will then spritz my face with a hydrating mist to get that dewy look. I don’t usually use mascara but I will curl my eyelashes and use a clean mascara wand and hairspray to set my eyebrows in place. I top off the look with a little highlighter (right now my favorite is the Charlotte Tilbury Bar of Gold or any of the highlighters by Becca) and a muted lip gloss like Dior Addict Lip Glow or even a tinted chapstick like Burt’s Bees and a nude lipliner – MAC and Huda Beauty make a great range of colors.
10 A.M. I am out the door and headed to meetings, fittings, errands, appointments, photo shoots, or whatever the day might hold!  I try to call my mom around this time to check in with her and see how she is doing. By the time I reach my destination I try and finish my water bottle to replenish myself from my workout and any caffeine I had that morning. Hydration does a lot for your skin and I really notice a difference in my energy levels when I drink a gallon a day.
