7 A.M. On the dot, I’m always awake. Tend to lie in bed with my puppy @sportethefrenchie and scroll through my phone for emails. And, I’m not going to lie—I check social media! Mainly IG stories to see what my friends got up to the day before. I also LOVE my morning showers. Often my hubby is banging down the door for me to get out hahaha. It’s like my ME time. And plus, everything in my shower is like a spa! Always enjoy exfoliating with the Fresh Strawberry Seeds Scrub and cleansing with my Shiseido foaming cleanser.
8 A.M. Usually by this time, I am doing any number of things: getting ready for work, massaging Boscia cactus moisturizer into my skin (body and face), going through a few outfit changes, drenching my hair with a coconut dry shampoo, feeding my puppy, watering the plants, unpacking the dishwasher, packing my bag for the day–and spritzing myself with my fav perfume, Chanel Mademoiselle.
8:30 A.M. Coffee time! Alfreds is my best friend at this time of morning. My standard order is a Dry Macchiato and/or an oat milk single shot latte, depending on how I feel. Oat milk lattes taste like warm cereal. So delicious and comforting. They remind me of hot Weetbix. Maybe that’s an Aussie thing, but makes me think of home when I sip on it.
8:45 A.M. Arrive at the office to get into my to-do list for the day. I chat with the girls on today’s agendas and answer questions that all the staff have for me. I pour myself a glass of water and add my Vital Proteins Marine Collagen powder to it, sip and chew on 2 x Vit C’s.
9 A.M. This is when I start to get into my emails. I get SO MANY per day, so it’s essential that I reply to as many as I can before they stack up for the following day. I then add the email tasks to my daily to-do list. I arrange my to-do list in order of priority or the most urgent. It’s usually the creative proposals that need my attention so our sales manager can then pitch them to the clients. Usually, these need to be created with a wick turnaround.
9:30 A.M. I’m still getting through emails at this stage. I try not to rush my replies and read everything twice. I like to have just the email open on my desktop and focus on the email at hand so I don’t get distracted by others that are waiting to be answered.
10 A.M. At this time, I’m finishing my emails then moving onto quality checking sporteluxe.com and the most recent stories that went live. I’m super fussy on image quality and titles, so I’ll often find myself changing up story titles and replacing header images. I’m all about color with Sporteluxe, so bright images are what I love.
11 A.M. Starting to get hungry… but I’m now onto content creation, pitches, and writing. I tend to work quickly in the mornings. I love to snack on a Perfect Bar around this time, however. My favorite flavors are peanut butter or the almond butter ones. I’m ADDICTED to these!
12:30 P.M. LUNCH! Usually, I have a salad with tuna or I go to Sweetgreen and make my own bowl of brown rice, red onion, parmesan cheese, tomatoes, falafel, chicken and ginger dressing. In the afternoons, I do some yoga, go for a walk, take my dog for a walk…
