6 A.M. I typically wake up at 6 A.M. – we have an almost 2-year-old, so there is always a chance it’s earlier. Since Artis is a global brand, sometimes my husband and I might have to hop on the phone with one of our international markets, like Japan or China. But, before anything, is the admin part of the morning–washing my face and properly brushing my teeth (I use the Quip toothbrush, and my dentist actually noticed a difference at my last cleaning). I follow that up with a quick moisturizing ritual: I use Caudalie beauty elixir spray and am a big fan of oils. Depending on how dry my skin is, I’ll typically use a rosehip oil, but most of the time I opt for Darphin Nectar of 8 Flowers. I use the Artis Digit SkinCare Oval 8 to lightly guide the spray across my face so I know it’s getting all over, not just on my nose and cheeks, and then use Artis Digit Skincare Oval 6 for blending the oil. If my skin is super dry, I might layer a cream on top.
6:15 A.M. I quickly check emails and that day’s to-do list so I can get a handle on what’s in store for the day.
6:30 A.M. Next up is breakfast for the baby – my husband and I switch off days.
7 A.M. After that, we go wake her up, though she’s usually already bouncing up and down in her crib. We try to spend 30 minutes together as a family in the morning, with phones down, so when we’re done feeding Beatrice one of us will make our breakfast – I live for breakfast! We usually do eggs, toast and a green juice– then we start dividing and conquering to get everyone dressed and out the door for the day.
7:30 A.M. I don’t spend more than 15 minutes getting ready in the morning unless I am going somewhere that I want extra styling for. I usually do light makeup – Janet Sartin Nutri-Cover Eye Cream Concealer, which my mom recommended to me when I was still in high school, with my Elite Mirror Oval 4 and then Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer with my Elite Mirror Oval 7. Afterwards, I fill in my brows with a powder shadow using the Linear 1, and swipe on some mascara. I have a rotation of outfits that I wear depending on the season — this summer I have been wearing silk dresses (my favorite has been Zimmerman) and white sneakers (either Common Projects leather slip-ons or Adidas superstar all whites) as a uniform.
8 A.M. head to the office  – usually I walk, it’s about 25 minutes from our apartment in West Chelsea to our workspace in Washington Square Park. I alternate days where I take a conference call on my way, hang with my husband or just take the time to breathe. I sometimes will use my Calm app on the way to work to clear out my brain before the onslaught of the day.
8:30 A.M.  I try to get into the office a little early (although that’s been hard lately because I’m 3 months pregnant) so I can go through the rest of the important to-dos and notes, as well as prep before the team gets there. I always feel that if I take the time in the morning–even 10 minutes– to look at what is on my schedule, then I will spend my time, and my team’s time, in the right way. If I don’t get in early, I will have left the apartment later or taken my daughter to the park before the day starts. Any free time we have in the mornings is to hang with Beatrice… or sleep a little more!
9 A.M. Usually I’ll have a snack in the office–we keep it stocked with what we and our team requests. Typically I’ll have some fruit or make a quick veggie juice. The snack is my morning bell, and the day officially kicks off.
