Carly Pearce is a country music star who has shattered expectations and records. Born in Kentucky, she knew her dream career from a young age, touring for the first time at only eleven-years-old. At sixteen, she dropped out of school to pursue a career in music and work as a performer at Dollywood. She then moved to Nashville and is now signed with a major label. Her single “Every Little Thing,” debuted at #1, and was certified gold, making her the highest-charting solo female debut since July 2015 and one of only three to accomplish the feat in 13 years. Carly also won the CMT Music Awards’ Breakthrough Video of the Year, and was nominated for iHeartRadio Music Awards’ Best New Country Artist. This country star has toured with the likes of Blake Shelton, Thomas Rhett, Rascal Flatts and Luke Bryan (including stadium dates), and is currently joining Jason Aldean’s Ride All Night Tour. We were curious to know what this singer does while on the road, so we asked her to break down a typical morning routine on tour. Find her oatmeal and fitness-filled schedule below–and listen to her newest single here.

7:00 A.M. Whether I’m on the road or at home, I am generally up by 7am. I have always been an early riser! While I’m on the road, I love to create as much of a daily “routine” as I can, so I love to wake up early to get a head start on my day.

8:00 A.M. If my travel schedule permits, I like to start my day with fasted cardio. I just get up and go — I either put my running shoes on and head outside or to a gym. Running is definitely how I get my head in the right space for the day.
8:30 A.M. I like to run and/or work out 5-6 days a week, so the first part of my day is spent doing that. I have such busy days the majority of the time, so if I can start my day like this, I’m also in a better headspace.

8:45 A.M. Fitness is super important to me, both physically and mentally, so I try to make it a priority every day. I like to run about 5-6 miles a day and do some sort of weight training at least a few times a week. It keeps me strong and ready for my busy schedule, and it helps me keep my stamina for running around on stage!

9:00 A.M. I start most mornings after the gym with coffee and oatmeal with berries. I try to have quiet time here to take a moment to catch up with my fans online, answer emails and go over my day, whether it be interviews and shows, a travel day or just for fun. I eat very clean and very healthy to stay feeling my best while touring. My favorite breakfast would probably be oatmeal; it keeps me full the longest!

9:30 A.M. I start getting ready right after breakfast, which consists of all of the things that a girl does. I do like to think I can get ready quicker than most girls! 😉 When you travel so much, you have to deal with getting ready quickly…and pretty much anywhere. I’ve learned to prepare my hair for any weather in just a few minutes. My current favorite hairspray is from Oribe, and my go-to curling iron to create my favorite waves is the 1” barrel from Conair–and it’s only $10!

10 A.M. Out the door and ready for the day! From here, I could be heading many places. 🙂 I will usually go to a tour rehearsal, sound check, an interview, a “write” (or songwriting session), or into the studio. I’m very grateful to get to do what I love every single day!
